Would I go back again? Yes (Calle Uruguay) ATTITUDE:xx MOOD: xxx SERVICE:xx BEEROMETER:$$ OVERALL:xxx

As one of the larger places on the all-too-trendy Calle Uruguay, Sahara has some high standards to uphold, yet it does that brilliantly. The dance floor is almost always shoulder to shoulder and there's a great outdoor seating area for those whose legs are tiring. As for attitude, this place is pretty chill. While there is a dress code (no sandals and no shorts) you can easily bypass the bouncer with a smile and a friendly plea of “come on?” They also have been known to let girls in for free if asked. A lot of gringos tend to hang out here which then draws girls who, well, will take money in exchange for things. Sahara is located in the middle of Calle Uruguay and allows easy access to Calle Uruguay's best. While sitting outside you will usually here only the best of American 80's music and inside there is usually a live band playing .
