Would I go back again? Yes (Location: Paitilla) ATTITUDE:xx MOOD: xxxxx SERVICE:xx BEEROMETER:$$$ OVERALL:xxx

This is the closest I'll ever get to LA's Viper Room. From its A- mixed drinks to its A+ stylin' atmosphere, Decapolis is great for both wannabes (such as myself) and hipsters alike. I like to snag a couch, some feathery pillows and sit back until the lounge closes and they kick me out. At which point I usually leave politely.

The bar at the Decapolis is a sweet spot. It has a very contemporary atmosphere (think south beach). The drinks are expensive for panama standards ($5) but if you were in a similar place in the states they'd be $12+. On the weekends they have DJs mixing some decent pop house.

Mateo: dresscode
this is one of the few places in panama with a strict dress code. guys, you cannot wear shorts or sandals. keep this in mind, as it's stopped me dead in my early evening buzz-tracks more times than one.
