I am starting a new series. It might get crazy, I dunno. But if it does, it will be sure to please your Panama-hungry taste buds. I've noticed that when having to write a review a week for this terrible, tedious, boring job I have in Panama ;) I tend to go out a lot. Clearly, the next best thing to do would be to write a series on the finest of what Panama City has to offer. This series is going to be titled “The Best of”: This is what I am going for: You are here for a night, a couple of nights. You want to know what the f**k you are going to do on this fabulous night, or even more fabulous couple of nights, that you are here in this fabulous country. Because quite frankly you just want to have a fabulous time.

The Best Spot in Panama to Dance: MOODS

For all you of who want to shake what your mama gave you, or at least fake it.

� Moods is perfect if you want to get down and drinks are fairly priced. A “botella” of Seco, two jars of mixers, a bucket of ice, and glasses is $30. If you are lucky, a camera guy will come around and you will get your pretty ‘lil face posted on the Internet so that everyone can be like “oh yeah, last night, that guy...”

The Best Spot in Panama to Get Wasted, and Not Get Kicked Out: FOXY

Because sometimes you just wanna be “that guy,” and continue to be that guy the whole night

� It's trashy. But trashy is becoming the new classy, I mean look at Nicole Richie. You can sing karaoke, party with people who are going to make you laugh, and last but not least, get belligerently drunk without worrying about not being able to get home because you spent so much money on booze.

The Best Spot in Panama to Party, But Be Able to Carry on a Conversation: DECAPOLIS

Every now and then, it's nice to be able to ask a pretty girl what her name is without having to scream or her having to read your lips to make out words.

� Decapolis is perfect if you want to get a group of people together, drink, and be able to talk about your day. You can sit and be merry in a beautiful atmosphere and it's the closest you are going to get to a swanky club in L.A. They also have a great sushi bar just incase you get the drunken munchies and want a healthy treat.

The Best Deal/Drink Special in Panama: HARD ROCK CAFé

From time to time, it's nice to know that you can get your moneys worth

� They now offer various specials that include food and drink. If you have never been to a Hard Rock Café, you will be pleasantly surprised. Everything inside the restaurant, including the bathrooms, menus, and waiters are covered in music memorabilia. They offer great American food as well as tasty drinks.

The Best Spot in Panama to Bring a Date: LAS BOVEDAS

You met this chick, she's bangin' in everyway, you just got paid, and have been eating pollo, arroz, y patacones for a week.

� The great thing about Las Bovedas is the ambiance. You walk in through these brown, spear shaped, castle/dungeon looking doors and enter into a mysterious, yet trendy, looking restaurant. It's not romantic, so you're date won't get scared, yet it's nice enough so she knows you care, and hip enough so she knows you're not a loser.

You better be: hot, fashionable, and rich.

The Best Casino in Panama City: VENETO

As if gambling, eating, drinking, and making fun of guys with Panamanian hookers doesn't equal a good time.

� Location: El Cangrejo (Via Veneto)

� 511 slots, forty-two table games, four restaurants, two bars, hotel, pool, and a spa. With all this, you are guaranteed a good time. The Veneto is also a great place to people watch. Once you go, you'll know what I mean.

The Best Spot in Panama to “End Up”: STARLIGHT

You've been at this place all night, you're getting a little tired of it, but don't want to go home yet. Starlight is place to have your nightcap.

� Location: Off Calle Uruguay (Across from Habibi's and next to Greenhouse)

� Its perfect for a cheap, late night drink. The location is perfect because it is right off of Calle Uruguay so you won't have to walk far from where you will most likely be partying in Panama City. And, it has karaoke.

The Best Overall Spot in Panama: NEXT Because everything is cool here.

� Next has it all, and is the biggest disco in Central America. It has good-looking people, alcohol, lots of room to sit or dance, great music, and awesome lighting. If you have one night, go to Next.
