As you might have guessed from the name, this is a Peruvian restaurant. But it's not just any Peruvian restaurant. The décor is corny and it's a little out of the way, but otherwise, I think this is one of Panama's hidden gems. I'm slowly but surely becoming a ceviche* connoisseur and believe this place to have some of the best I've tasted so far. I cant remember the name of my entrée, but it was something like “lomito strato” meaning tender little grilled pieces of meat mixed with onions, tomatoes, and French fries. It was really good. The service here is first class and the food is as well. While it's one of the most expensive meals I've had, you can still get out of there with a full meal in your belly for under fifteen bucks. *Notelet: whenever I type ceviche, the computer asks me if I am actually trying to type “crevice” or “device”.
