 Would I go back again? No (Santa Clara) ATTITUDE:x MOOD: x SERVICE:xxx BEEROMETER:$ OVERALL:x
This place is a riot! Fiesta Casino has a good name but that's about it. It sits in the beach town of Santa Clara, back on the same road as the all-inclusive and over-dominating Decamaron Resort. There are no signs that lead to it and if you don't stumble into it by accident, there's pretty much no reason you'd ever know it exists. First off, the doors are these heavy wooden doors that are really hard to open--someone needs to tell the manager, "hard-to-open doors are not a good way to get people in your casino".
The decor is really funny too. In one part of the warehouse-sized room they tried to do, like an army style atmosphere with hanging branches, fake tin roofs, and dirty naked lightbubls that flicker. Its pretty funny. There's another area where they've done a rainforest style motif--the kind of thing that if you don't go all out, it looks silly. The bar is nice and they have a big TV (which unfortunately didn't have my soccer game). They serves drinks in unbreakable cups, the kind that you used in your highschool cafeteria--it felt like home. Overally, this place really sucks. Don't ever go out of your way to get there, but if you happen to be in the vicinity, it's worth a visit--for the laugh-factor. Oh, but be forewarned, there is almost no parking spots--just another testament to the general enthusiasm and passion by which this casino lives.
