As corny and as seemingly tacky as it sounds, to stay at a casino during your tropical getaway vacation, this is actually quite a decent option. The bottom floor of the Veneto has some nice lounges and high-end restaurants. The second floor is the casino, and the top remaining floors are hotel.

The service here is really pretty good. The bedrooms are well-put-together and they´re a great bargain. I believe $80/night is the going rate, and sometimes they have these killer deals where you can stay for $30/night, and that promo includes $10 of gaming chips.

Its location is very good, in the El Cangrejo neighborhood which is close to almost everything. Plenty of restaurants near by and only a 20 minute walk to the banking district and ocean.

The beds in the Veneto are incredibly comfortable. They also have a great roof-top pool deck with nearby bar, lounge, and fitness center/spa. The business center there will kindly give you 30 minutes of free internet should you request it. And if you´re into gambling, it´s one of, if not THE nicest casino floors in Panama City.

The high roller suite is smashingly gorgeous and looks out at the ocean and teeming city line below.
