La Coralina, <a href=store Panama" title="La Coralina, Panama" border="0" style="float: left;" />We spent three nights at Hotel La Coralina. The hotel exudes a tropical ambience and it is in a beautiful location: a nice representation of Bocas del Toro. Since my sister wanted a vacation consisting of horseback rides on the beach, online nature trails, scuba diving, and surfing, we decided to stay at La Coralina. To my surprise, buy viagra I was really pleased with the hotel. It's situated in a perfect quiet place away from town. The social area has a pool table, a fire pit for those cool nights, and all with stunning views. The rates are were also reasonable for the quality and seeing as though the property was very well mainatined .

It was great that they picked us up right at the airport which was only a short ride, but felt comforting and welcoming. The rough road to and from the town did created some inconvenience but we considered it part of the adventure. Stacey, the owner made sure we got there safe and sound. We were picked up and dropped off wherever we wanted throughout the course of our stay: a great amenity.

The host and her staff were very friendly and graciously helpful. They took very good care of us. From boat tours to horseback riding, surfing, kayaking, they took the initiative every day to coordinate activities through their many reliable connections: the kind of thing we've come to expect from smaller hotels like these--their ability to set you up with insider knowledge. Stacey knows pretty much everyone in town who runs surfing, sailing, snorkeling, etc. and can hook you up with whatever you need. We got a chance to search for star fish, dart frogs, sloths and took naps in hammocks when it was all through.

La Coralina, Panama The hotel itself had 7 rooms, I believe if I'm not mistaken. The room we occupied was tastefully decorated, filled with colorful regional art. The beds were clean and very comfortable: with no a/c but actually we don't need it (consider this if you have issues with heat, especially during rainy season when it can get muggy). There wasn't a TV in the room but I didn't even miss it. We didn't have time to watch TV: instead enjoying the fun activities recommended by Stacey.

From the lovely open-air restaurant we had a perfect view. The food was also great which was an added bonus. They serve fantastic fresh food and great drinks (and the water is safe to drink). Every meal was a treat, truly impressive. We loved it to the point that we found ourselves not wanting to eat anywhere else. Breakfast was included with our room charge and the fresh bread was to die for.

One highlight for this vacation is Edgar, the monkey at the hotel (and yes, Edgar is actually a monkey, not the door man). He was naughty but very lovable and entertaining. Now who needs TV when you have Edgar.

If you want a fun beach town with lots of cheesy attractions, if you like Myrtle Beach in South Carolina or Virginia Beach in Va, this is not for you. If you love nature though you will love La Coralina. This is not a five-star hotel. One has to remember that in Panama, the standards elsewhere in the world are pretty much disregarded. Of course there's going to be bugs. The hotel overlooks the Caribbean Sea, of course you will hear the waves. If you don't like the sounds of the waves don't go to an island. If you really want a luxurious accommodations well you have to find another place. But for us La Coralina was perfect. It offered the perfect Panamanian getaway for someone like me who wanted a laid-back beach vacation and a bit of adventure seeking.

I agree with you totally. I've stayed at La Coralina twice and the service is wonderful and the view can't be beat in bocas! Very beautiful especially now with the decks overlooking the sea.
