This is a really interesting article. Working in the Tri Cities real estate market I've definitely seen the market shift you describe here as the consumer has gotten more and more access to information that only the seller used to know. I've been looking at getting in on the Panama real estate game, but it looks like it'll take a lot of research. I've already got your book, Matt, I'm wondering what other literature there is out there on the subject. - Jack Darrington

There you go again....I will start by admitting that some of your information is accurate, but it will be some how misleading to those people that want to do business in Panama. Do not go too far about the "creditable licensed" realtors and the entire industry; just for the sake of comparison,in Miami, Florida you find worse habits than the one you mentioned. I learned that in Panama the realtors work 100% harder...they have to seek the information. In USA they sit and voila! over 1,000 searches in front of you. The lazy ones just pick no more than five they do not want to work hard, God forbid. And then there is the consumer that to this date believes that they, through the magic of the Internet have the same listings a realtor does. Like the old saying in spanish: " En todas partes se cuecen habas"
