<description>I also enjoy buying and setting off fireworks when visiting countries where (unlike home) there exists a good selection at decent prices (such as central America and eastern Europe).

My preference in Panama City are the stores dedicated to fireworks, not the places in Barrio Chino which sell fireworks among other items. The dedicated stores tend to have a bigger selection, more powerful items, and better prices.

Shall we go fireworks shopping, Matt?

<description>Matt, we just came across your site and all we can say is WOW! Your writing is so fun to read and we are having a blast learning about Panama through your observant eyes. We enjoy printing them out and reading them aloud in the car (we commute a lot) so we wanted to officially thank you for brightening up our days!
