Have been a fan of the bagel cafe since I arrived in Panama in 2009. Now, I went back recently and they have expanded, and have a nice outdoor space where I can have a smoke and drink my coffee. I love it!

The best coffee shop / breakfast joint in Panama, hands down!

I finally had the chance to make it to the NYBC today. Many friends had told me I should try it, but hadn't the opportunity until today, and wow I wasn't dissappointed. Fantastic bagels, and a great breakfast special. Liked the overall new york style environment and saw quite a few friends on mine. I may have been slow in making it to this place, but I sure will come back soon. - Gringo Guapo

I have taken it as my personal mission to do my part to keep this place in business. I told the owner the same. The bagels are authentic--not those baked bagel pretender thingies--and the whipped cream cheese is heavenly. Note that if you buy "una docena" you get 13 vs. 12. Cut them in half, wrap them individually, pop them in a freezer bag, and stick them in the deep freeze. They'll toast up to freshly-baked condition. - Mary Roush
