I moved to Panama for the challenge.

What first brought you to Panama and what were some of the deciding factors?:
As my mother is panamenian , the first time i\'ve been to Panama was for vacation. Last year I spent 2 months to relax. When I went back to France, I presented the country and its opportunities to my partners. We moved in October , 2007 to start our company, STERN TAYLOR EVENTS.

How long have you been living in Panama and how long do you see yourself here in the future?:
6 months. For me , it\'s a very exciting adventure. I\'m here for the challenge, to bring my skills here in Panama. Challenge is a very good thing, i will stay until everything becomes too easy.

What are the positive aspects of life in Panama?:
Life in Panama is very pleasant. People are helpful and peaceful.

What are the negative aspects of life in Panama?:
Panama City is too noisy!!!

What one aspect of your life in Panama makes it all worthwhile?:
I bring or create new concepts of event in Panama. This make my life in Panama worthwhile. It\'s very pleasant to share my skills here with locals to build wonderful projects!

Was it difficult to become "legal" or achieve residency for you in Panama?:
No, because i was naturalized 3 months ago.

Do you speak Spanish and do you think it's necessary in order to succeed in Panama?:
I do. I think it\'s quite necessary to succeed, but it\'s REALLY necessary to understand the culture of the country.

What are your future plans in Panama?:
I\'m going to focus on my work as i\'ve created a new company few months ago. I\'ve already a lot a work !!! That are my plans. Working in the Event industry here takes a lot of time and a real engagement.

Favorite restaurant in Panama (include brief review por favor):
Jimmy\'s ! They have very good meat and seafood ( they have a very good grilled octopus)... There is always a lot of French people there.

Talk about where you live: location, type, neighbors, costs, amenities, conveniences?:
I live in El Dorado, a very good location for me as it is really nearby the Parque Metropolitano. I love nature and I need calm and space. The other positive aspect is also that all the supermakets are very close.

How are you received by the locals in Panama?:
Very well.

Do you ever miss home and if so, how do you best cope with it?:
Of course I miss home and family. I miss Paris, I miss my neighborhood ( Montmartre), I miss my friends... But, here, i have new opportunities, i meet new people and i\'m very busy so i don\'t have the time to think about it. I prefer to focus on my job.
